Our 350 MHz. rated Enhanced Cat5e patch cables are well constructed using Enhanced Cat5e bulk cable, which consists of 4 unshielded twisted pairs, 24 awg. stranded conductors, and a PVC jacket. We terminate the non-booted Enhanced Cat5e cables with RJ45 plugs, which are staggered and are plated with 50 microns of gold plating per contact. We terminate the molded booted Enhanced Cat5e cables with short body RJ45 plugs, which are plated with 50 microns of gold plating per contact.

Our Gigabit rated Cat6 patch cables are well constructed using Cat6 bulk cable, which consists of 4 unshielded twisted pair, 24 awg. stranded conductors, and a PVC jacket. We terminate these Cat6 cables with RJ45 plugs, which are staggered but also feature a shorter wire base design. This allows for less distance lost between twists and maximizes the performance of our Gigabit cables. These Cat6 RJ45 connectors are plated with 50 micron of gold per contact

We terminate the non-booted Enhanced Cat5e cables with RJ45 plugs, which are staggered and are plated with 50 microns of gold plating per contact. We terminate the snag less molded booted Enhanced Cat5e cables with short body RJ45 plugs, which are plated with 50 microns of gold plating per contact.

We offer both molded booted and non-booted patch cables for both Cat5e and Cat6 patch cables. Non-booted patch cables are great for PC to Network jack installations where cables are not as likely to get snagged. Molded booted are commonly used in environments where multiple cables overlap each other such as wiring closets and modular furniture. Wiring closets offer a fast easy way to connect your Ethernet switches and hubs with patch panels. With all the wires overlapping each other they can sometime get snagged upon removal. The RJ45 clip gets caught on other wires or brackets but with our snag less boot design that is no longer a problem. The boot not only adds strain relief to the cable but also covers the clip allowing the cable to be removed from these sometimes-cluttered places with ease. Our boots also do not overlap the RJ45 connectors. They are flush with the sides of the RJ45 connectors allowing them to be pulled in close together.
